If you follow my page, or know me, or both, you know I have a weak spot for Mr. Dotzauer. I research about him, I publish old and forgotten editions, and I write articles describing his musical and pedagogical contributions.
Today, though, I want to do something more!
For the last 6 months, I have been listing and collecting his ideas and teachings on my social media pages, and now I am ready to share them with all of you!
The best part of it is that it will be completely FREE because I want most of you to get access to this knowledge and make your cello playing and teaching better!
Introducing… DOTZAUER’S PEARLS OF WISDOM, a collection of over 130 ideas and statements accompanied by pictures and personal considerations from my part.

This is also my first “Open Source” project, meaning that it is in English starting from today, and it will be translated in as many languages as you, our cello community, believe it should. I will gladly correct any mistake in my English that you may find, I will translate it in Italian, and I will send the text to anyone who is interested in adapting it to their language.
Besides, if you believe I’ve missed something, or that certain parts should be expanded, please know that your opinion will be considered, and your contribution will be mentioned in the book itself.
Please download it for free from this link, and let me know what you think of it. Your feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Consider joining the MAILING LIST if you are not part of it already to get free excerpts and more every week!
You can also browse my full catalogue here.
Please enjoy a few more sneak peeks of this nice booklet!

Thank you and have a great day!
