About me…

I am a music editor, cellist, and researcher with a deep passion for uncovering and preserving musical heritage. Since 2018, I have published meticulously crafted scores under the Artistic Score Engraving label, focusing on lost works by renowned cellists such as Carlo Alfredo Piatti and Justus Johann Friedrich Dotzauer. The Piatti Opera Omnia project has brought eight previously unpublished works to light, while the Dotzauer Project has cataloged over 300 duets for two cellos and published pedagogical volumes aimed at redefining beginner-level cello repertoire.

As a collaborator with esteemed publishing houses like Breitkopf & Härtel and Universal Music Publishing, I have also worked with composers such as William Blank and Lee Bradshaw. Notably, I served as the music engraver for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s first opera, Zarqa Al-Yamama (2024). My expertise in music notation software ensures precision and artistry in every produced score

My passion for the cello began at age four, leading to rigorous studies culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Conservatorio “G. F. Ghedini” in Italy (2009) and another from the HEMU in Switzerland (2011), where I earned the “Best Thesis” award for my research on cello posture. I completed his Master of Arts in Music (with Honours) at the Conservatorio “Ghedini” in 2017 with a thesis exploring theatrical gestures in Benjamin Britten’s works, collaborating with luminaries like Colin Matthews.

From 2010 to 2015, I have led a research-driven festival in Saluzzo that revived interest in luthier Gioffredo Cappa’s instruments after centuries of obscurity.

Currently, I continue my publishing projects while engraving contemporary compositions for opera, symphonies, and chamber ensembles. My dedication to music editing and performance exemplifies my commitment to preserving classical traditions while embracing innovation.
