New Editions: Dotzauer & Bréval
The first edition released in May marked the beginning of the collaboration with Bernd Krause of Büro für Geschichtswissenschaften, and revealed the mastery of Dotzauer over vocal chamber music with the Six Songs for voice and guitar, Op. 18. You can read a detailed account of this edition, listen to a couple of excerpts, and purchase the full edition here and here. The printed edition is also available. N10

The second is a new collaboration with Maestro Yuriy Leonovich. He found a lost arrangement of the fifth sonata from Six Sonatas, Op. 12, original for cello and basso, by Jean-Baptiste Bréval, for cello and piano, realised by Armenian cellist Diran Alexanian, and we made an edition together. This complements our collection of the entire Breval’s production of sonatas for cello and basso (find op. 40 and op. 28 here).
You can listen to an excerpt of the first movement and find the full edition on Gumroad (or on Payhip). N11

June
New Edition: Dotzauer, Op. 21
In June, the Dotzauer Project reached its 11th instalment, with the Pot-pourri, Op. 21, for cello and guitar. You can find the edition here (or here), and watch the promo video here. The printed edition is also available, and here’s an excerpt:

This edition contains a guitar part edited by prizewinner Emanuele Buono, an urtext cello part, and two extra cello parts: one with performance suggestions by Australian cellist Josephine Vains and one with my personal suggestions. N12
